# Topaz Starlight

> Rebuild detail that isn't in your clip anymore.

Rebuild detail that isn't in your clip anymore. Topaz's diffusion upscaler, for soft, compressed, archival, or AI-generated footage.

## Original frame rate

Keeps your clip's own frame rate, up to 30 fps. For 60 fps footage, choose 60 fps.

Select it with `"mode": "original"`, or leave `mode` out and the inputs decide.

**Required:** `source_video`\
**Optional:** `enhancement_model`, `softness`

Resolution tiers: `1080p`, `4k` (send as `tier`).

## 60 fps

Outputs 60 fps, adding in-between frames for smoother motion. Twice the cost per second.

Select it with `"mode": "smooth_60"`, or leave `mode` out and the inputs decide.
